Meditation has the potential to change the way a persons brain and nervous system operates, into a positive. Studies show that through meditation the brainwaves can change for the better and the structures of the brain, such as area's that control our fear and stress response can shrink while the more evolved parts of our brain are switched on, and become more active.
Meditation can have short and long term benefits, these benefits are linked to our nervous systems, meditation can balance and re-program the way our nervous system works through creating a felt sense of safety, calming and well-being.
Breathwork is a simple practice that can be done alone, or alongside meditation. The benefits of breathwork are profound and and transformative. Breathwork calms the nervous system, relieves brain fog, increases anti-inflammatory responses, increases immunity, increases lung capacity, and increases longevity. Breathwork is used to relieve anxiety, depression and other mental illness. Calming panic attacks, heart palpitations, and calming rushed thoughts. This is available one on one, or in breath work classes.
